ACIS is delighted to announce that Santo Cilauro has kindly agreed to be its new patron.
Born in Melbourne to a family from Licodia Eubea near Catania in Sicily, Santo has a passion for calcio and a deep knowledge of, and love for, Italian film – interests which were finely honed in his Italo Australian household.
Santo graduated from the University of Melbourne in Law and Arts (with a major in Classics). A founding member of Working Dog Productions, he has written, performed, shot, edited, directed, produced and (as a true Italian) even provided the catering for films such as The Castle and The Dish and for television shows including D-Generation, The Late Show, Frontline, Russell Coight’s All Aussie Adventures, The Panel, Hollowmen, Thank God You’re Here, Have You Been Paying Attention?, Santo, Sam and Ed’s Total Football, and Utopia.
