Spunti cover 2015The publication of vol. 30 (2015) of Spunti e Ricerche, ‘The Shaping of Memory’, is imminent. CFA Spunti e Ricerche -special issue on Dario Fo and Franca Rame

UnknownThe Editorial Committee of Spunti e Ricerche, a refereed journal of Italian Studies, invites submissions for volume 31 (2016) on Dario Fo and Franca Rame. 2016 will mark Dario’s 90th birthday and this special issue can cover any aspect of the artists’ life, whether alone or as a couple, including but not limited to:

  • Theatre and performance from their beginnings through to present day
  • Songs
  • Radio, film and television
  • Art, including theatre sets, props, puppets and paintings
  • Dario Fo’s books on people, history, and art
  • Dario Fo and Franca Rame’s political experiences and writings

Expressions of interest (including a 150-300 words abstract and short 100 word bio) should be sent to the special issue editor, Luciana d’Arcangeli,  by 29 January 2016.

Spunti e Ricerche: further call for papers for 2015 issue on Memory

UnknownSpunti e Ricerche has space for articles in its next issue (vol. 30, 2015). The theme is ‘Memory’ and contributions regarding the topic, in the broad context of Italian Studies – Literature, History, or Cinema, are welcome. Original unpublished papers in Italian or English, ready for peer-review, should be sent electronically in Word (MLA style) before 31 July to any of the following Editorial Board members: Tony Pagliaro, Carolyn James, Annamaria Pagliaro or Raffaele Lampugnani. They will also be able to provide any further information required.

Spunti e ricerche: call for papers

UnknownThe Italianist journal Spunti e ricerche, founded in Melbourne in 1985 and with national and international circulation, is calling for papers for publication in volume 29 (2014). Papers concerning literature, history and the broader field of Italian studies are welcome. They should be submitted by July 2014 via the Spunti e ricerche website where information on the submission procedure is provided. Papers should be complete, using the most recent MLA format with end notes and a list of works cited. All submissions are subject to peer review before acceptance.
