Umberto Eco: An evening to remember

Umberto EcoARIA-SA and the Dante Alighieri Society of South Australia are organising a celebration of the life and career of Umberto Eco on Tuesday March 22, 5:30-7:30pm, at Flinders University Victoria Square, Level 1, 182 Victoria Square, Adelaide. The event will be introduced by the Italian Consul, Roberta Ronzitti, and will include presentations by Antonella Strambi (‘Eco: his life and career’), Luciana d’Arcangeli (readings from The Name of the Rose and Foucault’s Pendulum), Gillian Dooley (‘The influence of Eco’s On Writing a Thesis‘) and Nick Prescott (‘The enduring impact of Eco’).  The event is free and open to all but please RSVP here.
