Urgent News via LCNAU: journal and conference recognition

logo-header-lcnau-ogThe ARC have informed us that a one week extension has been granted on the public consultation period for the Draft ERA 2015 Journal and Conference Lists. Feedback can now be made up until 5pm on Friday 21 March.

LCNAU (Languages and Cultures Network for Australian Universities) is very keen that you take this opportunity to provide feedback to ensure that research in and on your language(s) is appropriately recognised.

To contribute to the public consultation, you must register using the ERA 2015 Journal and Conference Interface (JACCI), which allows users to download the Lists as a spreadsheet; comment; and add new quality journals and conferences.

Please note that if a reputable journal you publish in is not on the final List, your publications in that journal CANNOT be included in the ERA exercise.

Similarly, if there is a high quality conference with fully refereed proceedings that is NOT on the list, then any papers published in these proceedings cannot readily be included in ERA evaluation.
